Indoor Meeting Spaces:

the Marguerite McQuilkin Dining Hall & the Boathouse

The Marguerite McQuilkin Dining Hall is the largest of Bethel’s indoor meeting spaces, and can comfortably fit around 100 individuals. Groups over 35 are required to use the Dining Hall. Perfect for larger group meetings, worship services, and even smaller group sessions. There are men’s and women’s bathrooms attached to the Dining Hall space as well as sound system with and a projection screen (no projector). There is a ramp for ADA accessibility at the Dining Hall and the Boathouse sits at ground level.

The Boathouse

The Boathouse sits next to Bethel’s Waterfront and can fit approximately 70 individuals if seated theater style. It has a small kitchenette space (fridge and microwave) and has a single bathroom. There is a covered back porch that features two bench swings as well as a small T-shaped dock.

the activity lodge, amphitheater & the island

Bethel’s Activity Lodge is situated across the parade field from the Dining Hall. It is enclosed on three sides and has a slightly raised dais. It has five unisex bathrooms/changing rooms, plus a water fountain and is located a short walk from the Waterfront. There is a ramp on the side for ADA accessibility.

The Amphitheater

The Amphitheater is located on the southern side of the lake and faces the island. It is largely uncovered, though features some sun shading and can comfortably seat more 200 individuals. There is lighting and electricity (3 outlets). There is also a fire pit that can be used for bonfires. The amphitheater is accessible at ground level.

The prayer lodge

The Prayer Lodge is located just behind the Amphitheater near Cabin Group A. It has a wonderful view of the lake and has a roof with benches beneath.

The island

Bethel’s island is a short walk away from the Activity Lodge and is connected to the road via a short bridge. There are benches that can seat around 70 individuals. There are no A/V capabilities or bathrooms on the island, and it is best suited for shorter meetings, picnics, and worship services.
