  • Can you hold a date I/my group am/is interested in?

    • A complete (signed and initialed) contract and credit card information are required to hold retreat dates.

  • What time is Check-in and Check-out?

    • Check-in – 3pm. Check-out – 10am (cabins cleared and cleaned)

  • Does Bethel provide linens and bed coverings?

    • No, Bethel does not provide bed linens & pillows. All guests should bring sleeping bags/pillows for linens for their bed.

  • Do you have gaming equipment and sports gear?

    • We have playing fields/courts for basketball, volleyball, badminton, gaga ball, and 9-square and have all necessary items for those activities. If you have questions about specific needs please contact the office.

  • How late can my group hold activities?

    • Out of respect for our neighbors, Bethel has quiet hours from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am.

  • I/my group know(s) how to swim well, do I/we still have to wear life jackets?

    • Yes, life jackets are required for the boating, zipline, blob, water rock wall, and water trapeze activities. Swimming is only allowed per contract and under the supervision of Bethel lifeguards. No exceptions!

  • Can Bethel be used for parties or special events?

    • Bethel is available to host retreat groups, churches, schools, and other community organizations. Facilities are available for day events or overnight retreats. For specific questions please email the office at grow@bethelchristiancamp.org.

  • What meals are included?

    • 2 meals are included in the overnight pricing for retreat groups and the menu is set by the cook each week. We can accommodate meals for some food allergies but cannot guarantee meals are 100% free of allergens. For more information, please contact the office. Snacks are not included in retreat pricing, but canteen time can be purchased (see contract for details). The kitchen is not available for cooking or heating up personal food items.

  • Can meal times be adjusted?

    • No, they are set to allow retreat staff to consistently commit to working weekends and to ensure meals are prepared on schedule. Breakfast is served at 8:00 am, lunch is served at 12:30 pm, and dinner is at 6:00 pm.

  • Can I bring in my own food?

    • Bethel does not have cooking facilities available for groups, all overnight retreats include two meals per night. However, pre-prepared foods such as snacks and packaged pastries can be brought and used in meeting areas. There are two Blackstone grills available for picnic and day rentals. Please refer to the contract policies for more information.

  • Is food allowed in the cabins?

    • No food or sugary drinks are allowed in the cabins. Water bottles are fine.

  • Does Bethel allow confetti or water balloons?

    • Yes, provided all debris is picked up afterwards. Failure to remove trash will result in an additional cleaning fee.

  • Is alcohol allowed on the premises?

    • No alcohol of any type is allowed on camp property.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    • 20% of total estimated cost will be due if event is cancelled after submission of a contract

    • 50% of total estimated cost will be charged if event is cancelled within 2 weeks of scheduled date

    • 100% of final total cost will be charged if event is cancelled within 1 week of scheduled date
